day duties
This training will be more personalised to your lack of knowledge in daily yard tasks. You may have always had your horses on full livery and are looking to have them on a DIY basis or at home and need help to brush up on your skills.
Equally, stepping up from a more amateur setup to a professional one can feel like a big jump and we want to support this transition and ensure you can keep up with the pace and standard.
When booking, please specify what skills you would like to cover in these sessions.
Duration: likely to be an hour 1 to 1, with an additional half an hour per extra person.
What to expect
What you’ll learn during your Yard Skills Session

Learn how to muck out efficiently and to a professional standard.

How to groom your horse daily, to ensure their coats are healthy and clean and they are smart for exercising.

Learn how to tack up correctly, how to check your tack is fitted correctly to your horse and discuss which tack items you may use and why.

Gain confidence carrying out daily yard duties that you may currently struggle with or not know how to do.

Provide a more broad set of training for your staff, your children, or yourself, to ensure a high standard of skill across all yard duties, from mucking out, to grooming to tacking up and tack cleaning.
